Dr Ashish Lall, did his schooling from the prestigious DPS RK Puram and then went on to receive his medical degree from Maulana Azad medical college, University of Delhi followed by masters in ophthalmology (MS) from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, LNJP hospital and GB pant Hospitals New Delhi
.
He then did his Diplomate National Board examination (DNB)and completed his fellowship from the Royal college of surgeons and physicians Glasgow {FRCS (UK)}.

He did his superspecialisation in the field of vitreoretina  from LV Prasad Eye institute under the guidance of Dr Taraprasad Das in Hyderabad.

He received fellowship in vitreoretina from the national board of examinations, Ministry of health and family welfare, New Delhi in 2005.

His areas of interest are Lasers, Treatment of Diabetic retinopathy, ARMD, Vitreoretinal surgery, Stitchless cataract surgery and Trauma.
