Our commitment to excellence and the desire to serve our patients better under one roof inspired the establishment of the Lall Eye Care Centre. Drawing from a rich heritage of 40 years and carrying forward the legacy of our founders, Late Dr. S.K. Lall and Dr. Usha Lall, our Eye Care Specialty Hospital is patient-centric in its approach and believes in providing quality eye care with compassion and dedication.
Established with the twin objective of bringing the best in eye care services for all with round the clock, personalised attention, the centre boasts of an award-winning team of experienced super specialists and supportive staff, robust infrastructure and state-of-the-art medical equipment. The belief that machines and equipment are as important as the man behind the machine has led to continual investment in the latest, most sophisticated technology for patient care.
We established the first Vitreoretina Eye Care Centre in Gurugram. Equipped with the latest technology, the Centre provided advanced facilities for diagnosis and treatment of vitreoretinal diseases like Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Detachment, Age-related Macular Degeneration. The Centre was inaugurated in 2006 by his excellency Director, Professor and Head of Retina Department LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, Dr Taraprasad Das, the mentor of our vitreoretinal surgeon Dr. Ashish Lall. Dr Basudeb Ghosh Director, Professor and Head of Department of Ophthalmology, Maulana Azad Medical College, Guru Nanak Eye Centre, New Delhi was the guest of honour at the ceremony. With an experience of over 20,000 surgeries in the last 17 years, our patient care is an amalgam of listening and educating our patients who range from neonates, school children, young adults to senior citizens.
Dr. Ashish Lall, MS, FRCS, DNB, MNAMS heads the centre as a super specialist eye surgeon in the field of Vitreoretinal and Cataract. An MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), Dr. Lall received his super specialist training in Retina as a fellow of the National Board from L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad (LVPEI, Hyd.). Currently, he is also a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, UK (FRCS).

Dr. Ashish Lall received his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), the University of Delhi followed by Masters in Ophthalmology (MS) from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, LNJP Hospital and GB Pant Hospital, Delhi. Having finished his fellowship of International Council of Ophthalmology ICO from the UK and his Diplomate National Board examination (DNB), he went on to acquire MNAMS from the National Board. He then completed his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians, Glasgow {FRCS (Glasgow)} and his super specialisation in the field of Vitreoretina from LV Prasad Eye Institute under the guidance of Dr Taraprasad Das in Hyderabad (Fellow LVPEI). He received a Fellowship in Vitreoretina from the National Board of Examinations, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi in 2005.
His areas of interest are Lasers, treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy, ARMD, Vitreoretinal Surgery, Endophthalmitis, no injection no stitch Cataract Surgery and Trauma. With extensive experience of around 12000 surgeries in the field of Cataract and Retina and a keen interest in various types of Refractive and premium Intraocular Lens Implantation Surgeries, he is an expert in dealing with all kinds of trauma from corneoscleral injuries to complex retinal detachments and retained intraocular foreign bodies.
He is an active member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and has been appointed as a Faculty in the Delhi Ophthalmological Society, the All India Ophthalmological Society, the Haryana Ophthalmological Society and the Gurgaon Ophthalmological Society.
